Looking Ahead....

I sure hope everyone had the chance to play out in the SNOW.  We finally got our WISH Kindergarten.  The weather finally came through for us!
This is how I enjoyed my snow days....

With that being said...This week we will finish up all our learning from last week.  We will finish up learning about Fantasy and Realism, learning about fractions and complete our Here I am book (maps).  We will also keep the same word study from last week.

We will also learn about the letter O.  We will learn a new poem about St. Patrick's Day to practice concept of word.  We will also write about our favorite place on the map, beach, mountains, playground, etc.

We will learn about the parts of a clock and how to tell time to the hour.

We will also start to talk about Spring weather and how it affects animals and humans.  I hope you all remembered to Spring forward.

We will have a guidance lesson with Mrs. Kopley and even have the chance to enjoy the 3rd grade recorder concert on Thursday.

Reminders for this week:
Monday will be Day 1: Music
Wednesday will be class picture day, our class will have it's picture taken together.
Please be aware of your child's lunch account if they purchase school lunch, as if you owe money they will not allow your child to purchase anything until it is paid in full.
Please continue to complete homework...as we near Spring break let's keep the learning fresh and moving forward!
If you have volunteered to send in items for the Egg Hunt, please do that as soon as possible.

Many thanks for your continued support in helping to make learning fun and exciting in Kindergarten!

Mrs. Beltz
