Weekly Preview- Sept. 17-21

This Week’s Preview

This week will continue to work on Concept of Word by learning a new poem called Apples.  We will work on learning how to do word study and we have even started learning about how to count syllables.  We will continue to work on writing one complete sentence in our journals.  We will continue to learn about AB patterns, review numbers to 10 and create and make some graphs about apples in math.  We will learn about living and nonliving things, what an apple tree needs to survive and how an apple tree changes with the seasons.  This will cover many science SOLS for the 1^st nine weeks.  We will also do some taste testing with apples, apple juice and applesauce.  YUM!  If you volunteered to send in an item, please do that as soon as you can.  Thank you for your support in helping make the next 2 weeks tasty fun! 

Yearbook sales begin tomorrow.  $14.00 to reserve a copy to be given out at the end of the year.

PE tomorrow.  Please wear the appropriate shoes.
